What Does A Trust Administration Involve?
There are many steps to a trust administration, however, it can be roughly broken down into the following four categories:
1. Notifying appropriate parties of the trust administration.
2. Gathering, taking inventory and assessing the value of trust assets.
3. Settling the debts of the decedent.
4. Allocating and distributing trust assets to the beneficiaries.
